In many cases the event organizer will arrange events around a theme or by age of participants, so if you participate in one, you?ll know you have at least something in common with everyone else there. Another advantage is the time savings. You get introduced to a wide variety of people in a short period of time, with very little in the way of expectations or commitment on anybody?s part.
